Our Experts at Work

Jonathan Templin, Ph.D.
IAS Co-Founder
Jonathan is a Professor and E.F. Lindquist Chair in the Educational Measurement and Statistics program, a part of the Department of Psychological and Quantitative Foundations in the College of Education at the University of Iowa.
His research interests are focused on the development of psychometric and general quantitative methods, as applied in the psychological, educational, and social sciences.

Zachary Conrad, Ph.D.
IAS Co-Founder
Dr. Zachary Conrad is the Executive Director of Technology and Data for the Kansas City Kansas Public Schools. Previously, Dr. Conrad worked for the Lawrence Public Schools, Kansas MTSS, the KSDE, and the Center for Educational Testing and Evaluation.

Robert L. Brennan, Ed.D.
IAS Co-Founder
Dr. Brennan is the Founding Director of the Center for Advanced Studies in Measurement and Assessment at the University of Iowa’s College of Education. He has authored numerous articles and books, served as president of the National Council on Measurement in Education, and received prestigious awards such as the AERA Division D Linn Award (2020) and the E. F. Lindquist Award for Contributions to Educational Measurement (2004).

Anne Wilson, MBA
IAS Co-Founder
Anne‘s accounting career includes nearly 20 years at the University of Iowa, where she currently is the Finance Manager for the University of Iowa’s Department of Ophthalmology & Visual Sciences. She also has experience with assisting businesses with their accounting and tax needs, and loves enacting process improvements.

Jacinta Olson, M.Ed, PhD Candidate
Senior Psychometrician
Jacinta has over five years of experience teaching mathematics in both Iowa and Arizona. She holds a Master’s of Education from the University of Virginia and is currently pursuing her PhD at University of Iowa.
Jacinta is dedicated to developing assessments that are tailored to optimize student success and enhance learning outcomes. She aims to blend educational measurement, cognitive psychology, and educational practices to create well-designed assessments that serve as valuable tools in the classroom.
